Billing, Aquadrome Northampton, 2006

Missed the spares day at Billing? Here is a photo impression of the spares day held on April 9th, 2006.

Lee Allen arranged a convoy of 4 Rover Sd1 models to drive up to Billing. One red Vitesse, a golden Mk1 V8-S a black Vanden Plas and himself in the 2300 gathered at a parking place around 09:00 AM to drive of.

Enjoying the trip looking to passing Rovers on the M42. Where of course also some video was shot, but that is something for later...

And you must admit, it is always a great view to see Rover SD1 cars on the road... no wonder people turn their head..

It was cold, windy, and some rain in the afternoon, but a lot of cars appeared on this Sunday April 9th.

And of course you could buy stuff or get rid of your parts.

There were also some cars for sale, as this good looking 2600! It was priced at 550 Pound O.N.O. and believed to be sold during the day... what a bargain!

One of the eye catchers, this Metropolitan Police car. Shame it went of with blinding's and caps over all the identification parts that showed us this is a ex. -police car....
